Author Topic: Can't edit my songs  (Read 448 times)

The songs on my iPhone had some errors in the way they were listed, so I connected my iPhone to my computer, and went into iTunes and fixed them manually. Now when I unplug my iPhone from my computer (by right-clicking and hitting "eject"), the songs still have errors. I plug it back into my computer and the errors appear fixed in iTunes (thankfully, because I did NOT want to have to do that all over again), but for some reason the errors are not affecting the songs on the iPhone itself, just in iTunes.

Am I doing something wrong? I have had this problem on occasion since I got this iPhone, where I make some type of change or changes in iTunes and it doesn't "take" in the iPhone itself. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Anyone have any suggestions?

is it an error in the music file or is it just in how the phone lists the songs?

there are multiple tags in mp3's that cause songs to list differently in the phone versus itunes. i have had this problem a few times myself

i just make a playlist on the phone and put them all there, really isnt anything else i could suggest
