Hello guys and thanks for the massive work you have done here..
I have an iphone 3gs version 3.1 modem firmware 05.11.07
was unlocked and jailbroken by blakra1n..

i just want to know what is the best way to upgrade it to the current os 4 , but keeping it unlocked and jailbroken, without loosing all the data in it, especially me messages and notes.

i would really appreciate your help and guidance
thanks

I just upgraded from 3.1.2 and I still have messages from 2009.
The newest firmware is 4.0.2 I think. I do not believe that is yet jailbreakable. Thought there may be a way to downgrade from 4.0.2 to 4.0.1. I think "Dinozambas" has a youtube video on this. Though I would suggest to just wait untill the next jailbreak is released, because there is gonna be a new firmware released shortly anyway. Unless you really want it now. Then try searching "Dinozambas" on youtube and watch some of his latest videos. He is on of the more trusted in the Jailbreak community.
