Sad  Hello guys.  My Name is Kadian.  I am from the beautiful Island of Jamaica in the West Indies, and I am begging for your help.  Here is my plight.  I own an IPhone 3GS, formerly on the 3.1 firmware.  In Jamaica, we have two major cellphone carriers; mine is called digicel.  Anywayz, here is the thing, when I had gotten the phone from my counsin in the States, my chip would owrk quite fine.  I have been making and receiving calls for a few months away from a year now.  The only thing I couldn't do, was send picture messages.  That's background info.  Presently, I am having some trouble.  I have been waiting for a while (as you can tell) for the phone to be upgraded, and since yesterday, my friend's husband has been trying to do so.  I haven't gotten much sleep since yesterday, and neither has he.  The thing is, he presumably successfully upgraded, jailbroken, and unlocked my phone unto the 4.3.2 firmware.  I say so, as I was able to go unto the Internet, and had even downloaded, and even been downloading third party apps.  I guess it would seem to you as well that everything is ok, but NO.  My phone is not picking up our networks out here, whereas it was fine before on the 3.1 something something firmware.  He went through the process a few times, using a few options available on the Internet, but TO NO AVAIL.  It still won't pick up our digicel network.  Ironically however, he was able to update his phone (3G) to the 4.2.1 firmware, and his simcard (CLARO - only legitimate carrier of the Iphone in Jamaica), and it picked up both our networks fine.  But my phone won''t.  I guess from the length of my writing, you probably sense how frustrated I am.  Please, can you please help.

I wish I could help you but I do not know anything about unlocking the phone. I can advise you to search "Dinozambas" on youtube. He does tons of videos on the subject.
