My 3.1.3 unlock with redsnow

Just so you know I dont plan on responding to other post on this thread.
This is to inform other users with the drawback of already having 3.1.3 on there 3g iphone. I got tired of reading useless post on many threads of ppl complaining that various jailbreak methods will not work with no replies of help.

Redsn0w 0.9.4 is the key
ignore any warnings if you wanna actually get this done cause it is the easiest way and it worked for me with no glitches even after several other methods failed.

*disclaimer* this post and my instructions will not be responsible for bricking or damaging your iphone.

Make sure before you get statrted download the following
Redsn0w 0.9.4
the Original iPhone OS 3.1.2 firmware for iPhone

The problem I think most other users have is that they don't know the difference between restore mode and dfu mode (they are different). Redsn0w will make sure you do it right.

1st
backup your iphone in itunes and
Restore your iphone in itunes to the new 3.1.3 firmware.
then close itunes.
2nd
run redsnow
folow the information provided by this well writen program and only select install cydia (unlock will not work with new firmware so the other options are not needed).
If you see the progarm display the blue progress bar and a pineapple jogging on your iphone you are done.
3rd
when your phone restarts look for Cydia for the unlock.
in Cydia DL SBSettings for assistance with other aps.
