Purchased a 3gs last week, great phone but ridiculous learning curve!

Questions:

1. Can I upload photos from my PC, via iTunes, onto my iPhone?

2. Can I download photos from iPhone, via iTunes, onto my computer?

I know these are very basic questions, but I have NO IDEA how to accomplish this simple task!!  Going a bit nuts here, can you tell??

I went through the process of setting up iTunes sync  with my iphone.  after the sync iTunes showed 5 pictures had been uploaded to my phone, but they don't show up on the phone.  I then took a pic with my iPhone and re-synced, the photo didn't show up on iTunes, still said there were 5 photos.  Have no idea what to do!  Help!

You can sync your photos from your pc to your iDevice with iTunes.
   In iTunes, after plugging  your device in, Look near the top right and find the word "Photos". Click on that and click the empty box that says "Sync Photos from...". Then select all foldrs or the folders of your choice.

To get pictures that you too with your camera from your device, Plug into your usb, (you do NOT need iTunes to do this). Most people will get an automatic pop up asking what you would like to do. Click the option to open file to view it. Then you can copy paste your pix. If you do not get the automatic popup, open "My Computer, and click on your iphone drive (on the pc, not your phone)
