hello evryone here! i recently got a iphone 3gs from a friend( he got another one and gave it to me as a b-day present) he has att i have tmobile, i was wondering if there is any way to jailbreak and unlock the phone without the att SIM card?

Welcome to the 3GS. Im pretty sure you need a sim card for the phone to work. Looks like you only have an iPod for now   Undecided
